Join us for a special day of botanical fabric dying and community learning in a relaxed and beautiful setting, Sunday Oct 4th 11am-3pm, at Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse.
Learn the fundamentals of fibre reactive dying AND botanical/plant dying processes, and create your own generously sized shawl (using fibre-reactive dye process) and your own organic cotton bandana/scarf (using plant dye process). You will leave with the knowledge to continue creating your own botanically printed fabric creations. Enjoy the community environment, beautiful mini retreat setting, communal long-table lunch (& cider) and forest and orchard walk.

Workshop Facilitator
Your Workshop Facilitator is Christine, at SeaDog Designs ~ a small-batch studio where cloth becomes canvas; where color, texture, and form come together through slow, intentional dye work.
Each piece is hand-dyed using fiber reactive dyes in soft, earthy tones that echo the natural world — sandstone, seafoam, shadow, light. Every color is mixed by hand, every textile held and worked with care. It’s a tactile, intuitive process, equal parts artistry and instinct.
This is wearable art rooted in rhythm, in movement, in change. No two pieces are exactly alike, each one is a study in nuance, in imperfection, in quiet expression.
SeaDog is for those who find beauty in the in-between: the worn-in, the well-loved, the handmade. Art to live in. Cloth to carry you through.

a good wholesome lunch together….
We will stop for lunch around 12:30pm and enjoy a communal long-table table lunch, with delicious menu offerings from Sea Cider, followed by a forest and orchard meander, to get moving and learn a bit about seasonal foraging. Menu will be provided before the day, for pre-orders ~ lunch & glass of cider is included in cost of workshop.
