bio
I’m a graphic designer and illustrator living in Victoria, BC on unceded lək̓ʷəŋən territory. I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta by an architect father and artist mother (which probably explains a lot) and attended the Alberta College of Art and Design before moving to Australia for a year to work and travel. Having spent most summers on Vancouver Island, I always knew that would be where I ended up, and finally moved there shortly after returning from my travels.
After settling in Victoria in 2010, I worked as an optician for 12 years, taking a break to attend Camosun College’s Visual Arts program and graduating in 2016. I received several scholarships, including the BC Arts Council Grant and the Jessie A. Forsyth Memorial Award of Excellence, and was also a member of the Ministry for Casual Living Artist Collective. I have worked with everything from ceramics and animation, to printmaking and photography, but found my true passion in digital art and design. I currently work from home with my two cats, a three-legged Maine Coon named Specs, and a polydactyl Russian Blue named Digit.
