Fringe Aprons
Maker| About
Victoria, BC
As so many of us have been homebound, and the popularity of food media steadily increasing, homes have been adorned with luxurious lifestyle products. An apron is no exception. There is a practical and nostalgic aspect for their use, in kitchens, gardens, and studios, across genders and age brackets. They serve as a nod to a time when one could host gatherings, or just to feel a little pulled together over sweatpants.
An apron can be symbolic for Gramma's apple pie, a painter's unintentional canvas, or create bonding time with mini chefs. In addition, an apron can serve as a clever disguise ~ no one can look lazy wearing one! At Fringe Aprons, we source high quality fabrics at cost, passing those savings directly to the consumer ~ keeping things sustainable + economical.
Environmentally, with a commitment to no waste, patterns are strategically placed on textiles to omit scraps. Designed by hand, each individual product has it’s own bespoke personality. There is an apron for everyone's taste!

Trey Zonneveld is proudly born and raised in Victoria BC. Having four children, and being a domestic goddess herself, she sought after a home-based creative outlet. Teaching herself to sew alongside messy toddlers was a motivating factor that spawned Fringe Aprons.
Having a background in interior design helped connect the refinement yet practicality of a beautifully crafted garment.
When Trey isn't playing taxi mum or giving bowl cuts, she can be found oceanside.
