Chamomile Whipped Body Butter

A skin soothing, deeply moisturizing whipped body butter made with organic oils and sustainable shea and cocoa butters.

Shea and cocoa butters, from Baraka Shea Butter, are infused with organic chamomile, calendula, lavender, and yarrow, combined with organic argan, castor, coconut, and rosehip oils, and then whipped to cloud like consistency.

Raw Organic Unrefined Shea Butter (Ghana) - Shea nuts are picked, cracked, grilled and pounded to extract the butter and then boiled in water until the shea butter rises to the surface. Shea nuts come from the fruit of the Karité Tree, also known as The Tree Of Life, and are packed with Vitamins A, E and F, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants. Shea butter is easily absorbed by the body because its consistency is very close to the body’s natural moisturizers.

Baraka Shea butter is a local Vancouver Island company that works with women in rural areas of Ghana to provide support for their traditional shea and cocoa butter harvesting and processing methods. Shea Butter is one of Africa's main sources for a woman's income. The shea and cocoa butters from Baraka are unrefined and contain high levels of bio active vitamins E and A.

This body butter also contains organic lotus pollen and botanical chamomile extract, and is great for dry or sensitive skin. It is lightly scented with therapeutic grade essential oils of Roman chamomile, lavender, and cananga (ylang ylang).
