Malachite Hoops

Classic 22mm (7/8") hoop earrings with malachite bead and sterling silver posts.

These beads are hand-carved and were purchased at a craft market in Uganda- expect character in the form of cracks and imperfect roundness.

If you don't mind a little upkeep, brass is a longer-lasting alternative to gold plating. Unlike gold-plating, which wears off within a few months, brass just is. Let it patina to an earthy brown or keep it polished and bright to mimic the look of 14k gold.
