Learn the fundamentals of traditional cold process soap making in this hands-on beginner workshop. You’ll be guided step-by-step through formulating, mixing, and pouring batches in small groups using high-quality oils and botanicals, while gaining a clear understanding of safety and technique. Leave with 8 of your own unique handcrafted bars of soap and the confidence to continue creating at home.n.

$169 includes comprehensive, fun and interactive soap making workshop, your finished creations, a set of three jewellery pliers, a kit of "findings" and assorted beads to make more jewellery, an instruction booklet that covers the basics AND a long table lunch & glass of cider!

Workshop Facilitator

Be guided Kristen Lambourne, the lovely, kind & talented founder of Forest Etiquette. Forest Etiquette is a place-based skincare line rooted in plants, ritual and the rhythms of nature. Every product is formulated from scratch and made by hand on Southern Vancouver Island, in small batches that prioritize freshness, potency, and environmental responsibility. Forest Etiquette exists at the intersection of ritual and function, where effective skincare and sensory experience are equally valued. It is slow beauty, shaped by season, and created in relationship with the land that informs.

a good wholesome lunch together….

We will stop for lunch around 12:30pm and enjoy a communal long-table table lunch, with delicious menu offerings from Sea Cider, followed by a guided forest and orchard meander, to get moving and learn a bit about Spring foraging. Menu will be provided before the day, for pre-orders ~ lunch & glass of cider is included in cost of workshop.
