Heron is the quintessential ribbed beanie, classically West Coast. Hand knit using Prairie Sea Fusion, a Cowichan inspired wool from Custom Woolen Mills, the fabric is dense, warm and robust. This isn’t the softest wool, but it is not itchy and will soften more with wear. It can be folded a little or a lot, depending on whether you like slouch or a closer fitting style. Heron isn’t a precious hat. It is designed to be versatile, hardy and an all-around, all-year, go-to for any and every occasion.
Available in 3 natural colours: Cream, Grey and Brown.
Heron measures approximately 12 inches in length and 5.5 inches in diameter, un-stretched.
Designed to fit most adult heads. Adjustments are possible so do reach out with inquiries, I’m Emily, email me here.

This incredibly special mask was created to bring the magic of Vancouver Island into your home and onto your skin.
Made with glacial marine clay that is hand harvested from a remote region of coastal Vancouver Island beneath the active Comox glacier. This glacial marine clay contains phytoplankton micro-nutrients from the cold clear Pacific Ocean and is enriched with minerals from glacial runoff that give it a negative electric charge, making it a gentle and effective way to remove impurities from the skin, absorb oil, and reduce pore size.
The delicate resins and organic plant botanicals contained in this mask were hand powdered using a mortar and pestle to retain the composition of the volatile oils within each botanical and double sifted to ensure a fine consistency.
Resins of frankincense, royal green hojari, and Siam benzoin combine with wild crafted, powdered grand fir needles, wild harvested BC pine pollen, chamomile and rosehip botanical extracts, and organic rose petals, rosehips, chamomile, and hibiscus, in a deliciously scented and deeply cleansing mask that will leave your skin feeling soft and nourished.
Instructions for use: combine 2 tsp of powdered clay mask with 1-1.5 tsp liquid, stir until everything is combined, and apply to clean, dry skin using soft, long strokes with your finger or a clay mask brush. Gently wipe off once the mask has begun to dry around the edges. Allow the mask to rest upon the skin for 3-6 minutes, or until the edges begin to dry. Do not allow the mask to dry completely before removing, as this is what can cause a loss of skin hydration and even some amount of skin sensation. Pat dry with a soft cloth or towel and allow skin to breathe for 15 minutes. If you wish, follow up with a face oil or moisturizer.
**because this clay contains a negative charge, only mix on non-metallic surfaces such as wood or ceramic.
**if you decide to mix essential oils into the mask before application, please do so using a carrier oil and be aware that some essential oils can cause skin sensitivities when used in concentrated amounts.
Ingredients: Vancouver Island glacial marine clay*, kaolin clay, zinc oxide, wildcrafted grand fir needle powder*, rosehip powder*, rose petals*, hibiscus flowers*, chamomile flowers*, wild harvested BC pine pollen*, chamomile & rosehip botanical extracts, powdered resins of frankincense, royal green hojari, and Siam benzoin*organic or wild crafted
